Kurt Erik "Kurtis" Lindqvist steps down as CEO of Netnod. Stefan Lindeberg has been appointed as acting CEO.

Kurt Erik "Kurtis" Lindqvist steps down as CEO of Netnod, an independent and competition-neutral organization of the Internet infrastructure, to move on to other activities. The work to recruit a new CEO has begun. Stefan Lindeberg has been appointed as acting CEO.

- I want to thank "Kurtis" for important efforts Netnod during his 13 years as CEO. Kurtis is a major reason for the company’s success. He has made important contributions to the international development- and coordination work of the Internet. I´m sure that this also will be the case in the future. The Board has, in agreement with "Kurtis" concluded that it is time for a new leadership in the company, says Netnod Chairman Anders Janson.

UPDATEDKurtis will officially step down as CEO at Netnod 30 September 2015. His last day with Netnod will be 28 February 2016.
