Netnod Time Direct - Redundant

To ensure the highest availability and redundancy, use the Netnod Time Direct redundant service.

With the redundant service, we connect you to separate switches, separate networks and separate atomic clocks (Grandmasters). This removes a single point of failure and ensures redundancy backed up by our SLA. The redundant service for Netnod Time Direct can be implemented in different ways depending on your setup and  requirements.

If you are already an IX customer, you can get redundancy on the Netnod Time Direct service in the following ways:

  • For customers with a redundant IX port, Netnod Time can be delivered over your current IX ports or over dedicated ports for Netnod Time.
  • For customers with a single IX port, Netnod Time can be delivered over your current IX port and one dedicated Netnod Time port, or over two dedicated Netnod Time ports.

If you are not an IX customer, Netnod Time Direct is delivered over two dedicated Netnod Time ports.
