Netnod’s response to the proposal for the 2026–2037 transport infrastructure plan.The main point is that the plan only considers the Swedish Transport Administration's (Trafikverket) own needs regarding fiber networks. Netnod argues that:

Any fiber network built with public funds must also consider society's broader needs.
The Transport Administration's network should offer dark fiber to both the public sector and market actors on non-discriminatory terms.
The network capacity should be dimensioned for the greatest possible use of fiber capacity over the next 50 years.
