Mikael Kullberg

Sr Data Scientist
Akamai
Mikael spends too much time on the internet. According to research this may lead to short attention span, which might explain why Mikael likes DNS where there are no long sessions to deal with. Having spent three decades meddling with bits in most of the TCP/IP stack, he can confidently say that IPv6 is better (and DoH isn’t). Historically, Mikael has mostly worked with Carriers and ISPs. Currently, his focus is security research at Akamai Technologies, where AI is a thing. This may seem odd, since trawling through billions of records for signs of trouble is more tedious than intelligent, but it is smart to let the machines do it.
He enjoys spending time with outliers and takes walks in random forests.
